Remedial techniques target areas of adhesion, spasm or underfunction. It is the aim of your remedial therapist to restore activity to those areas of past injury and restricted movement. Chronic problems can be rehabilitated.
Acupuncture - Japanese acupuncture is a very gentle way of restoring your body to a healthy state. Various tools are used to stimulate points on a three dimensional circuit of channels in the body to address physical and emotional conditions. This stimulation works by taking your body’s own attention to areas that have become stuck or deficient and needn’t be strong, so that you feel nothing but a deep relaxation.
Iridology - A fantastic tool for the natural therapist. We can see specific areas of your system that need support or cleansing. Stress markers can be identified in the iris as well as digestive health. Iridology gives an idea of the overall pattern of health in an individual. It is often used in Western Herbalism as part of your initial consultation and to assess progress throughout treatment.

Sonia has been in practice as an aromatherapist and remedial masseuse since 1999. In 2003, she established Aromatica Clinic in Sydney, with a desire to bring together dedicated therapists passionate about their healing craft.
Her studies in Herbal Medicine were completed in 2006. Sonia provides comprehensive herbal and nutritional health care for all conditions with a focus on re-establishing your vital force and healing ability. This is the paradigm that holistic treatment embraces.
Monika Habicht BSc BHSc (TCM)
Acupuncturist (Toyohari), Chinese Medicine, Qualified Doula.
Monika graduated with a bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Sydney. She continued her studies with a post graduate certificate in Toyohari Japanese meridian therapy and attends workshops in Japan for ongoing training. She has spent time in China focusing on herbal medicine with a clinical internship in Beijing. Natural fertility and paediatrics is a specialized area of her training.
Gwen Davies DRM
Remedial Massage Therapist.
A graduate of Australian College of Natural Therapies in Sydney, Gwen specializes in remedial and deep tissue techniques. She uses massage to treat specific musculo-skeletal pain patterns or as part of a health maintenance program. Gwen incorporates the use of Aromatherapy in her treatments to address the emotional and stress component of patients’ symptoms.

Detoxing – Talk to us about your issues and/or symptoms and we can recommend a program for you or the best way to go about it. Therapies that will be helpful are herbalism, reflexology, acupuncture.
