BOWEN THERAPY Is a remedial body technique. Bowen balances the physical, mental and emotional planes. A vibrational energy therapy that is gentle, relaxing and safe to use on anyone from newborns to the elderly. The treatment involves sequences of small gentle moves, a cross fibre rolling of muscle and tendon over acupoints and trigger points along the meridian energy system, retrieving cellular memory of the body's preferred balanced way of being. Bowen produces an integrated body response, and consequently improves circulation, lymphatic and venous draining, assimilation of nutrients and elimination of toxins and improved joint mobility. Bowen Therapy addresses the body as a whole unit and the cause of problems rather than just the presenting symptoms.Treatment can be performed on the skin or through light clothing if preferred.
ACUPRESSURE Is an oriental based system of gentle finger pressure massage that treats points along energy channels or meridians, aiming to release discomfort by rebalancing the body’s energy flows.
KINESIOLOGY Uses Manual Muscle Testing as a tool, which tests the function of the muscles, which in turn reflect the body's overall state of structural balance. Assessing flows of energy within the body that relate not only to the muscles, but to every tissue and organ that make the body a living being. The client is observed as a whole organism, rather than a collection of symptoms.
Ultimately, Kinesiology relies upon the muscle feedback system that measures how the nervous system controls its muscle functions and the channels of the brain and body. In this way, it helps the body into a better position to heal itself or reach a specified goal by 'balancing" its energies. It is thought that all stress, imbalances and blockages in the nervous system can be detected by testing the tension in certain muscles.
REFLEXOLOGY Is based on the principle that congestion or tension in any part of the foot mirrors congestion or tension in a corresponding part of the body. These parts, known as reflex points can also be found on the hands and other body parts.
POLARITY BALANCING. The human body is bipolar (moving from pole to pole) in its function and action. When the energy is in balance and flowing freely, health is maintained. Disease or pain results from a blockage, restriction or imbalance in this flow. Balancing the polarities will assist in re-establishing a healthy energy flow and in balancing energies.
