What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is focused concentration of the mind under the guidance of a qualified practitioner.
Everyone has the ability to achieve a natural trance state—we do this when we daydream.
During hypnosis you are always in control and aware of your surroundings.
You will never do anything that is against your will or beliefs.
Hypnosis utilises your own imagination to visualise positive outcomes.
Hypnotherapy is a calm relaxed state that has been around for hundreds of years.
Most people can be hypnotised as long as there is a belief that it is possible.
Exceptions: schizophrenics and anyone with a psychotic condition.
There is a lowering of the blood pressure during hypnosis but, all bodily functions return to normal when the trance state is concluded.
Simple habits may be dealt with in a couple of sessions. Deep seated problems may require extended treatment.
Sessions are usually one hour duration.

As parents most of us have chosen to dedicate our life to the welfare of our children. Of course we love them. But can we be absolutely sure that our loving intensions are always correctly communicated, correctly perceived or correctly interpreted?

A child's world is so literal from the age of 1-5, anything we say will be taken literally.

Glenda Walton is a graduate from the Academy of Hypnotic Science. The Academy has been established for over 25 years and conducts the only Diploma course: Clinical Hypnotherapy in Australia, carrying full government accreditation.
She is a foundation member of the Council of Clinical Hypnotherapists.
Glenda is a Thought Field Therapy Consultant, Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner and has studied Reiki.
Glenda is also an accredited SleepTalk™ Coach, which is taught to parents and is primarily effective for children between the ages of 1½ to 12 years, depending on their individual maturity. This process has had amazing results empowering children to reach their full potential without fear.
