By combining a diverse group of complementary health practitioners, we integrate the best of modern and traditional knowledge, eastern and western teaching, mind and body, prevention and cure – ultimately to achieve the best health outcomes for you, our clients.
urbannature provides qualified and experienced complementary health practitioners that are happy to work with your doctor or specialist to provide your complete health service. Referrals are not necessary.

Consultations are by appointment only – 7 days a week. Call us on 9519 7232 to book your consultation time or contact individual practitioners directly. We would appreciate 24hrs notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule.
We accept cash, cheque or credit card payments at the time of your appointment. Health fund rebates are available for most therapies. Gift Vouchers are also available.

Alex provides natural treatments for all types of health conditions, and has a special interest in treating women’s health issues, gastrointestinal disturbances and skin problems such as psoriasis and eczema.

Emma is a dedicated practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine who has a background in herbal medicine and also holds a university degree in TCM. She integrates acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and massage therapy with the western biomedical sciences to develop wholistic treatments that address both the root cause of your condition, whilst providing relief from your current symptoms. She treats a wide range of health issues, and has particular interest in women's health pre and post conception care, chronic illness and the treatment of paediatric conditions.

Nicholas is a manual therapist with more than 15 years experience. He is dedicated to the field of structural integration and movement education to provide clients with an understanding of how they relate to their environment and its impact on their posture and movement patterns. Nicholas specialises in Rolfing – a system of physical manipulation and somatic education designed to bring an individual into alignment, improving posture and balance. He continues investigating theories for movement and rehabilitation of chronic pain, while studying within the field of occupational therapy.

Having practiced yoga for 9 years, her passion for it motivated Liz to leave the corporate world and train as a teacher, both here and in India. Her classes are relaxed and uplifting with genuine attention given to the individual needs of each person. Liz believes reasons like “I’m not flexible/fit enough” or “I’d be embarrassed” are great ones to DO yoga, not to stay away. With a completely accessible approach, Liz is able to make yoga enjoyable and rewarding for each student. So whether you are looking for relaxation, strength, flexibility, or all of these things you will find them and more attending her gentle Hatha style yoga classes. Classes 7pm Wed, 6.30am Fri.

Roz is the Director of UrbanNature and a remedial therapist who uses a variety of bodywork techniques to restore and revitalise – for specific muscular injuries, pain relief or just for relaxation. Roz’ bodywork modalities include traditional massage techniques, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, specialised sports massage and pregnancy massage. She also manages research in complementary medicine, and is a qualified Natural Fertility Management counsellor.
