LOOK GOOD ..... FEEL GREAT!
Why Naturopathy?
Naturopathic medicine is guided by the philosophy of the “healing power of nature”. This means that given the right treatment and support, the body has its own healing energy to repair and recover from illness. It is suitable for everyone, from infants to the aged.
Naturopathy uses safe and effective natural therapies to support and stimulate the healing power of nature in a gentle but efficient manner. These therapies include herbal medicine, nutrition, dietary and lifestyle changes, as well as other modalities.
A range of methods are used, and what one is chosen depends upon the individual – no two treatments are the same. Every patient is viewed and treated as a whole, which is a complex interaction of physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social and other factors. This is why patients suffering from acute colds to more serious chronic illnesses may benefit from naturopathic treatment.
Understanding what is happening to you and being given the tools to regain health is very empowering. You deserve to live a happy, healthy and fulfilled life.
The Naturopathic Consultation ...
An initial appointment will take just over 1 hour, in which your health goals, medical history, family history, general lifestyle and any other information will be reviewed in order to design a treatment program specifically suited to your needs. Many questions will be asked on different body systems to help put together the pieces of your health picture.
The consult also includes:
• Blood pressure
• Tongue and Nail analysis
• Iris analysis
• Zinc evaluation test
• Cellular health assessment
Pathology tests may be requested depending upon your condition.
An individual wellness program will then be developed to help you achieve your health goals. Follow-up consultations may be needed to monitor your wellness progress and reassess your needs.
