Wendy has been formally studying, training in, and practicing Essence Therapy since 1998. Wendy grew up in the Hunter Valley on a property which backs onto and contains a large acreage of virgin bush. This experience enhanced Wendy's connection with nature, the environment and all things natural. Essence therapy is not a new method of healing by any means. It has been used by different civilisations for hundreds of years. Edward Bach, a Harley St. Doctor, re-discovered this ancient art in the 1930's and brought it to the attention of the modern world.
He believed that nature was essentially benevolent and contained everything humans needed for their healing. He did not believe that healing needed to involve the use of traumatic, toxic, poisonous or invasive products.

Dowsing Explained
Dowsing has been used by many different civilisations for many centuries. There are references to dowsing in Chinese literature from as long ago as 2200 BC. In healing, the tool used for dowsing, is usually a pendulum.
Basically dowsing is the skill of seeking answers through intuition and higher wisdom rather than through the intellect or ego.
Everything that exists in the universe possesses an energy field. These energy fields have a vibrational frequency. When a target is being dowsed, it is its frequency that is being tuned into.
By tuning into intuition and connecting with the frequency vibrations of both the person and the essence, the dowser can match the essences needed to the person.
